Baby/Toddler Clothing Sales From Carters, Target, Old Navy & Nordstrom

There have been some amazing sales going on lately for babies, toddlers and kids. With a daughter that is growing in what feels like the blink of an eye, I took advantage to sort of stock up on a lot of essentials in preparation of her never ending growth spurts. I wanted to share some of the things that I picked up for her, because most–if not all–items are on sale for 50% off and maybe even more. I wanted to include all price points from affordable to maybe a few splurge items because everyone’s taste and budgets are different.

Carters Sale

All of these onesies are from Carter’s and come in packs of 5–which is great, considering they’re a perfect summertime staple here during the hot California summers. I’ve linked all of them below!

  • One (all of the subtle floral printed ones)
  • Two (includes the purple gingham onesie and purple flowers onesie among a few others)
  • Three (has the whale and ice cream onesies)

I also picked up these pieces from Carters as well— they are individually sold. All are linked below:

Carters also has these matching tie front top and bottoms that come in multiple colors and patterns! I’ll link both the top and bottoms:

Target Sale

These onesies are from Target and come in a pack of three! I had never purchased anything from this particular brand before for Livvy, but I have to say I’m impressed with the quality of the fabric and the durability of the snaps. Linking them below, along with some other recent Target baby purchases I’ve made for Livvy (that I didn’t get around to photographing).

Old Navy Sale

These four pieces are all from Old Navy! I’m absolutely obsessed with the blue tie dye shorts and the pink tie dye romper. Everything is linked below!

Nordstrom Sale

Lastly, I wanted to share these two dresses my mom bought for Livvy that are on major sale at Nordstrom! They’re having some great deals on kids clothing as well. Linked below!

Check back for more sales I’ll be posting soon!

Children & Baby Gift Guide

This gift guide was one of the first I released this year. I was especially inspired this year to create this gift guide thanks to my beautiful baby girl, but also in part to the deeper understanding I now have of how hard it is to physically make it out to Target/Walmart/etc with a baby/toddler. Good news busy moms: everything on this list is Amazon prime. You’re welcome.

  1. Baby Einstein Music Toy: Great for car rides, grocery shopping, running errands. This is a personal favorite of Livvy’s.
  2. Multi pack of baby essentials: One of those “get it all done in one purchase” type of gifts. This set has so many great essentials necessary for baby development.
  3. Shopping cart walker: Perfect for babies who are learning how to/ are walking! My mom purchased this for Livvy for Christmas & I can’t wait for her to be able to use it SO SOON.
  4. Ice cream pretend set: How cute is this pretend play ice cream set up?! I think this would be so fun for any child.
  5. Doctor pretend play set: Pretend play is so important for children and allowing them to explore new things. This fully equipped doctors set is another way for you to have fun with your child. Let them play doctor with you!
  6. Pretend cookie baking set: Can you tell I’m really all about the pretend play sets?! I loved them as a child and I’m fairly certain my mom is or has gotten this for Livvy.
  7. Inflatable water tummy time mat: This is a perfect gift for babies who are working on tummy time! The little foam sea creatures float around and it provides effortless entertainment while allowing their muscles to strengthen.
  8. Playskool Explore and Grow Busy Ball set: This looks like a fun toy for kids to keep them entertained.
  9. Playskool Pop Up Toy: Definitely a fun toy for smaller children, keeps them guessing and on their toes.
  10. Pretend kitchen set: I’m linking this one and this one, one is a little more neutral and the other is super pink– either one are great options.
  11. Baby pop up piano: When baby presses the keys the colors float upwards.
  12. Dancing Mickey: What child doesn’t love Mickey? I’ve had so many of you guys message me on how much your child LOVES this toy so I had to include it!

There’s so many other amazing options, so I’m linking the rest of the gift guide below!

Livvy’s top favorites!

  • Skiphop Hedgehog: We call him “jingly hog” and we basically don’t leave the house without him!
  • Carseat Activity bar: Great way to entertain on the go!
  • Soft blocks: Great for smaller babies and newborns that need softer toys!
  • Activity Cube: Livvy is obsessed with this toy! There are so many gizmos and gadgets on each side that work different sensory areas. Sings and teaches, too!
  • Teether rattle: If you have a teething baby or know someone with a teething baby, get them THIS. Huge lifesaver.
  • Carseat Cover: Livvy has two of these and they’re perfect when she’s napping and we’re running errands, or if I forget her blanket by mistake. Also works as a shopping cart cover, nursing cover, scarf, etc. Multi-functional and a top new mom/baby must have. They come in a number of prints!!
  • Fisher Price dog: Livvy has recently grown attached to this toy and loves that it moves and sings.
  • V Tech Activity Walker: The activity center can detach from the toy so you’re basically getting two for the price of one.
  • These pacis: These are by far our favorite because they’re one piece and EASY TO CLEAN. And because they’re easy to clean, less germs to worry about. These are also extremely durable.

Hope this helps all of my mamas out there! Xoxo.

Men’s Gift Guide

I had to ask my husband for help with this particular gift guide because like most other women, I was stumped as to what would constitute as gift-worthy. I trust my husband’s judgement as he is a self proclaimed “snob” when it comes to quality and duration of the products he uses. Granted, they don’t need one-step hair stylers, an arm party of gold bracelets or another pair of ripped jeans that looks identical to the 50 other pairs overcrowding your drawers, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something on the market for them. Ladies, I present to you a simple, uncomplicated yet comprehensive gift guide for the special men in your life.

  1. Ugg Slippers: JD wears these every morning he wakes up and as slips them back on as soon as he gets home from work. He says these are an absolute must have.
  2. These Sunglasses: He swears by these sunglasses for driving, running, everyday wear. He’s had his for four years and counting and they’re still in perfectly good condition. As a pilot, he says these are some of the best lenses he’s ever had on sunglasses.
  3. Calvin Klein Underwear: What man doesn’t need a pack of new underwear to replace the ones that are probably in tatters by now? These are great quality and on sale!
  4. This particular Nespresso machine: JD is a coffee connoisseur and raves about every single pod he’s ever purchased for this machine. He first discovered this machine in our hotel room on our honeymoon in Bermuda & he’s been hooked ever since. This machine is also on major sale just in time for holiday shopping!
  5. Wireless headphones: These are his favorite of all time, even over his AirPods. He uses these primarily for work outs and runs. I’ve tried these a few times and the sound quality of these cannot be beat.
  6. Sherpa hoodie: I just purchased this for JD three weeks ago and he wears this hoodie non stop. He has a whole arsenal of hoodies and pullovers but keeps going back for this one because he says it’s his coziest & easiest to wear. Best part of it all? Its on MAJOR sale for next to nothing. Comes in a few colors too!
  7. These white t-shirts: Every man needs white under shirts in their wardrobe. JD used to live and die by Hanes, but I started buying him these after the Hanes would wear down way too quickly and he’s switched his entire white shirt collection to these specifically. They don’t even have to be worn as undershirts, the quality is good enough to be worn with a leather jacket, denim jacket, hoodie, etc. Comes in a pack of three or four.
  8. This windbreaker: Don’t let this jacket fool you. It might have a lightweight appearance, but it’s extremely durable and WARM. Blocks out any rain or cool winds. This has been a favorite of his for years.
  9. This wallet: I have tried to entice JD with other wallets but he refuses to part with this one–and for good reason. This wallet could likely survive a nuclear explosion. He has given these as gifts to his other guy friends and the things they love are the number of card slots, the slim nature of the wallet, and the accessibility of getting cards & money in and out.
  10. These jeans: JD has had this particular style and pair of jeans for five years now. I have a pair of women’s jeans from this brand and I loved them so much that even when I didn’t initially fit into them post-baby, I still refused to get rid of them in hopes of fitting back into them. Snag a pair or two for your guy while they’re on sale. They are pricey but honestly well worth the money, and it’s better than replacing jeans every year.
  11. These sneakers: JD just purchased a pair of these two months ago and I haven’t seen a day where he hasn’t worn them. He says they are the best sneakers he has ever owned (and he’s owned a LOT.) They’re on major sale as well!
  12. These socks: Hands down the best socks he’s worn, and they don’t get holes in them or wear easily. JD would own everything from this brand if he could.

I hope this guide helped a few of y’all with your holiday shopping! Additional links to these products in other stores can be found on my LTK page with the men’s gift guide image! Xoxo.

Women’s Holiday Gift Guide 2019

With Holiday season in full swing, gift shopping has been at the top of my radar. I love a healthy balance of splurging and saving, and more importantly, knowing when to apply both. Most of all, I love holiday shopping that’s fuss-free, avoiding the door-wrapped lines and annual Black Friday chaos that ensues at the mall. Alas, I present to you, one of my many gift guides to come. Ladies first!

  1. Waterbottle : I use this everyday to keep track of water intake! Comes in two sizes and a number of colors!
  2. Name necklace: I love mine and it makes the perfect layering piece with other necklaces in your arsenal.
  3. Leopard blanket: This blanket is definitely a splurge but well worth every penny. We have two now in our house because my husband fought me tooth and nail for it.
  4. Vanity mirror: Great alternative to the pricier Riki mirror, and has excellent lighting! Great for applying makeup or facial products.
  5. Custom reusable hot/cold cups: I can’t go to Starbucks without this! Keeps your drink insulated & looks cute!
  6. Spanx Faux Leather leggings: Also a splurge, but a cult favorite. Dresses up any outfit!
  7. Tote: This tote is the perfect size for everyday and for everything. From work to pilates and everything in between.
  8. TULA Essentials: By far my favorite skincare line out there & they just released their holiday kits. This kit is a great way to pamper yourself or someone you love!
  9. Cheeseboard: This cheeseboard has it ALL–literally. Equipped with all of the serving tools you need and has multiple slots for cheese, nuts, meats, etc.
  10. Monogrammed Candle: Smells amazing and the monogram adds a personalized touch! Great gift for newly weds, too.
  11. Steve Madden Sneakers: I wear these about everyday, they’re that comfortable (comfortable enough to chase a baby around in!) and they’re a great dupe to the infamous Golden Goose sneakers.
  12. Jewelry cleaner: Purchased this off of Amazon a few months back and it is every bit as good as going to get your jewelry professionally cleaned. I use regular Dawn dish soap in mine and my rings come out sparkling!
